Verbal Reasoning Test This test measures the ability to evaluate, reason and conceptualise with words and sentences. This test comprises 32 questions with a maximum time limit of 24 minutes. After completing the test, your score will be provided. Please try to attempt every question before the end of the time limit. If you cannot answer a question in time, use your best guess.
There are four different question types. In each question type, you will be presented with a passage of information, and three statements about that passage. For all question types, base your answer solely on the information presented in the passage.
The four question types include:
1) Inferences: Based on the information in the passage, you will need to determine whether the statement is: Definitely true, Probably True, Insufficient Information, Probably False, or Definitely false.
2) Deductions: Based on the information in the passage, you will need to determine whether the statement is: True, False, or there is Insufficient Data to make a deduction.
3) Conclusions: Based on the premise of the passage, you will need to determine whether the Conclusion Follows, or whether the Conclusion Does not follow
4) Arguments: Based on the information in the passage, you will need to determine whether the argument presented in the statement can be defined as a: Very Strong Argument, Strong Argument, Fairly Strong Argument, Fairly Weak Argument, Weak Argument, or a Very Weak Argument.
