You are about to start the Situational Judgement test. This test assesses your ability to judge the effectiveness of different actions that could be taken in response to workplace situations. In the test you will be presented with 4 short descriptions of scenarios which reflect the kinds of situations that graduates experience at work. The test does not require any specialist knowledge. You should not assume any prior knowledge of the situations described in the test and your responses should be based solely on the information presented in each scenario. The scenarios are unrelated to each other and you should not use information in one scenario to respond to another. The test allows 10 minutes per section, but this is just to ensure that you do not feel rushed. The whole test should take you around 10 minutes to complete. Once you have started the test you should complete it in one sitting. When completing the test bear in mind the following points: Consider the effectiveness of each action in terms of your first response to the scenario. Rate each action independently of the other actions presented. Read the description of the scenario carefully before you rate the actions relating to it. Rate the actions based on the information presented in the scenario, even though you may feel you want further detail. You can allocate the same rating to more than one action in a scenario. Please note: The results of this test and any information provided will be anonymously stored. This test is purely for research/development purposes and should not be used for employee selection. Once you have read and accepted the above, please begin the test.
